Lewis Hamilton has hinted he may reconcile with ex-girlfriend Nicole Scherzinger, revealing he’s still in love with her.

The F1 driver confirmed his split from Scherzinger last month, with friends of the 26-year old stating their break-up was down to the fact that he wasn’t ready to start a family with The X Factor USA judge.

Despite their split, the pair were spotted cuddling in a Los Angeles car park – with Hamilton admitting to The Mirror that he’s not ready to give up on his relationship with Nicole just yet.

Speaking of their LA rendezvous, Lewis told the newspaper: “We had a really good week, a couple of really nice lunches together. We had a really nice dinner together,”

“It’s very early days and we still have very strong feelings for one another. I still love her very much. So, who knows? Maybe we will be together in the future.”

Hamilton also revealed he has a new outlook on life as he prepared for a race in Sao Paulo, Brazil, explaining: “I am very happy to be here, I’ve great memories of being here in the past. Actually [Nicole] was here with me when I won the world championship, so I’ve very good memories.”

He added: But certainly it was a really positive few days which meant more to me than a race win, so I came away from LA feeling great and things are different, so that’s cool. I’ve a lot of positive energy at the moment.”
