Pop star, “Dancing With the Stars” winner and “X-Factor” judge Nicole Scherzinger has been named the first spokeswoman for Kiss Product Inc. Scherzinger will represent Impress Press-On Manicure, the latest technology hitting the sharply growing nail care category.

Scherzinger will appear in the full marketing campaign, which includes television advertising, print, digital media and in-store displays for the launch, which is under Kiss’ Broadway logo. Impress is a collection of press-on, peel-off nails that provide the look and longevity of a gel manicure.

Kiss executives think Impress will have the “x” factor with shoppers. Calling it the “biggest launch ever for Kiss,” senior vice president of marketing Grace Tallon said the technology has been in the works for six years.

Do-it-yourself nail care has been on fire in mass market doors with innovation after innovation, including bold color launches from OPI and Essie to at-home gel and Minx-style applications. The nail category in food, drug and mass merchants has been averaging dollar sales gains exceeding 11 percent over last year, according to industry data.

It’s always a smashing good time, and this year’s GQ Men of the Year shindig, held last night (November 17), was no different.

Showmen of the Year Justin Timberlake and Jimmy Fallon showed up at the Chateau Marmont looking to party, as did King of the Year honoree Jay-Z and Breakout of the Year Michael Fassbender.

Other handsome attendees included Chris Pine, John Hamm and Kellan Lutz, whose new flick “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn Part 1” opened at midnight.

As for the ladies, total babes like Jessica Biel, Emma Roberts, Nicole Scherzinger, and Minka Kelly came out to see what all the fuss was about.

And that’s not all- newly-single Zooey Deschanel, Ali Larter, Elisabeth Moss, Anna Faris, Jaime Pressly, Lake Bell, and Jaime King also made appearances.

Her American fans have been chomping at the bit for her new album Killer Love to hit stores, and Nicole Scherzinger will make them wait even longer.

According to a report, the album’s December 6th release date has been again delayed, though the new date has yet to be announced.

This news comes after Nicole performed on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno” this past Friday (November 11), a rare treat for Stateside followers.

Nicole’s new single “Don’t Hold Your Breath” follows up “Right There,” which scored the #39 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart earlier this year.
